Hope you all had a great Thanksgving!
We sure did! For the first time in many years, we actually had company with us for a holiday! I swear, the food tasted better with them here! (which is why we are all on a crash diet for the next month) The guys got in some golf, Andrew went fishing, the tree that fell in our yard a few months ago is cut up, and we got the Christmas tree decorated. OH! Almost forgot - Andrew lost his first tooth too, partially due to it being loose and mostly because of an unfortunate roller skating situation.
Thanks Laurie, Mike, Morgan and Dillon! We love you and are so glad you drove all this way to be with us!

BEST FRIENDS

What we did on our fall vacation...

We spent a few lovely days with our friends, Vic, Shirley, Antonio and Alessandro(a.k.a. "Boo Boo") in Atlanta. Here they are: http://www.printroom.com/ViewGalleryPhoto.asp?userid=Braves&gallery_id=498922&image_id=13userid=Braves&gallery_id=498922&image_id=13.

We did what we usually do, and it's just what we needed. We watched the kids run around like maniacs and had too many beers. Let's see...there was bowling and skating and the kids dug in the dirt (I still can't get the red mud stains off Andrew's shoes). Vic did the grill thing, of course! Lot's of living room baseball was played (Shirley, you are a brave woman!), and the drum solos were, um, LOUD.
Audrey and Boo Boo are the best of friends. They stole the show, hanging out with each other constantly. We had a great time!

What form! Hmm...who didn't see that coming?

More pictures......Andrew at the party.

Had trouble getting these pictures to upload on the other post, so here we go again. My little hula dancer and the house.....

Ok - you know how you can always fondly remember how awesome Halloween was when you were little? I swear, in my memories there was, like a non-stop parade of plastic costumed children with those awful plastic masks that had the two little holes for breathing and the little hole where your mouth was supposed to be....God - it was great. I LOVE Halloween. It was sad for me in Orlando, because we always had buckets of candy and decorations, and not too many trick-or-treaters. WELL. I sorta knew last year, as we were nosily poking around other people's houses, that this neighborhood was gonna be really into the Halloween thing. It IS! Man - we were all decorating on the first day of October. And the actual day? I spent 3 hours spinning my webs and hanging up spiders and getting all my lights just right under my ghosts - let's not forget trying to get Audrey to actually put on her costume. It was all worth it! The non-stop parade of kids everywhere, the really wonderful way the neighborhood decorated and enjoyed the whole thing....even the weather was great. One house here does it up really good with a haunted house theme goin on. You have to actually go in to get your candy out of the coffin. Yep. I screamed. You would have too if someone had grabbed your ankle and then someone in a totally black scary get up jumped you from behind. F. U. N.

Well, here are the pictures. Andrew went to a party last weekend and those people had more guts than me. After about an hour of just watching the 12 little party goers, I needed a beer!
Hope you had a great Halloween - thanks for visiting!
